My name is Brett Daniel and this is my website. I currently reside in Champaign, Illinois and spend most of my time doing academic things with and for the where I software testing and development tools. I enjoy artistic activities like programming, digital photography, drawing, and music.
I live cleanly, follow the Golden Rule, and believe that any problem worth solving has an elegant solution (it is just a matter of finding it).

I posted BrettDaniel.com version 1.0 on December 18, 2000. I started a weblog on July 29, 2001. In July 2006, I merged the entire site into the weblog. The site is currently driven by with a custom theme and some code tweaks.
