I am happy to say I went to my first college party this evening. Somehow, my next door neighbor Eric got on the list for a house no more than a hundred yards down the road from our dorm. Downstairs they had brought in a pretty decent band from Wisconsin that played that folky/rocky/alternative stuff that seems to be so popular at parties. After they finished, an acoustic solo act went on stage, so Eric and I decided to head back and watch . It seemed like the right thing to do.
