As I may have mentioned a while back, a group of us has been playing pool in the dorm's recreation lounge pretty often this semester. After just a few weeks of doing this, I had gotten sick of using the dorm's warped and feather-light cues that always slipped off the ball. With that in mind, I bid on and won a nice new pool cue in an auction last week. Today I finally received the cue, and as I had hoped, it's orders of magnitude better than the old beat up rentals. The ball actually goes where I want it to now!
