I'm sure many of you reading this know that I drive a red, 1990 Celica GT-S. I was wandering aimlessly around a while back when I came across auctions for these two Celica ads. I sent an email to the seller asking if he'd be willing to put them together for a package deal, and after a few more emails, we aived at a price. Granted, these pictures are just pages from a 12 year old magazine, but I still find it pretty cool that I now have the original ads for my car.
Update: The seller couldn't find the ad on the right with the race car, so he refunded half my money and sent the other one. He said he'd keep looking, but I can't shake the feeling that I got fleeced somehow. Even if he does find the other ad, he'd still lose the cost of shipping a separate package. It doesn't serve his best interests to find it, so I don't expect he will. I'll keep pressuring him through email, though, and if he doesn't have it after a week or so I'll give him some negative feedback. That'll show 'im, I guess...
Update #2: The seller found the ad and is shipping it as I write this.
