My goodness I have a lot of interesting events to write about. Starting at the beginning, things have been coming along nicely at work. I got my first project which, interestingly enough, doesn't involve C# .NET like I expected it would. I'll probably talk about that a little more as it progresses, but I can't really say too much about it right now. Continuing with the week, on Tuesday I got a membership which will allow me to keep up with my lifting and perhaps give me the chance to do some other fun stuff should the inclination hit me. With the membership I got three guest passes, one of which I gave to Eric to use when we went lifting Wednesday evening. He's planning to eventually get a membership, too, and hopefully some of my other friends will as well. Yesterday was perhaps the most notable day because I went with Doug, Stuart, Chris, Michael, Jason, Kristy, and Matt to see the opening night showing of . Foregoing a full review, it will suffice to say that I definitely enjoyed seeing the film. It had a great story which followed the original quite well and which I hear included several elements from . Also, it did a beautiful job of setting the stage for Revolutions. Some parts seemed stretched and/or superfluous, and the special effects weren't mind-blowingly good like they were in the first film, but certainly neither of these shortcomings will deter me from buying the DVD when it comes out.
