Yesterday I finished some classwork earlier than expected, so I took part of the afternoon off to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. I brought my camera and took some pictures of campus.

I stumbled on your blog a few months ago. I kept reading it because I am also a grad student (not CS, though) and my late mother was an alumna of the University of Illinois. It was really cool to see pictures of the campus she talked about constantly when I was growing up. Belated congratulations on passing your qualifying exams.
